The most controversial point here is barring the alternate chair from posting.

My reasoning is that the accusations against Dave Crocker, calling him an 
"agent provocateur", "confidence man" and "hired gun", without a shred of 
proof being offered for this allegiation, MUST be treated either as 
permissible speech or as nonallowable personal attack.

If someone can find me a distinction between Patrick's message and the 
others that deserves moderating his to a warning, I'd be happy to hear it.
