This idea completely flies in the face of the entire
principle of the existing deletion/drop process.  

I am totally against any such initiative.  First past the
post is the only truly fair process in registration and
re-registration.  Any attempt to mess with this idea is
due to encounter stumbling blocks.  The recent .biz and
.info fiascoes are good examples of bad ideas like this
one.  I think it would be best if registrars stick to
other business models and means/services to bring in
money, and not to go here...

William, please reconsider your candidacy for
participating on the Transfers TF.
