actually none of this would surprise me at all.
My point is, the threat of government intervention, was the *Stick* waved about
during the formative process for ICANN. The implication made was if we dont
cooperate form consensus and get behind ICANN or something...governement would
intervene to ensure stability.
And now that we are experiencing the @home debacle....it will be hard to argue
against govt intervention.  We told government it could be done without then.
And now....
