Re: [wg-review] Re(2): [cctld-discuss] Comments on review of DNSOby Mr Park

Robin,

Actually I was more concerned about ccTLDs than about DNSO. But this
is another one of the issues, there exist 25000 mailing lists and
nobody knows what is what and who is where and and and.

But, the point remains, one falls under one or other constituency
within the DNSO.

Now owning a Domain Name is one thing technically, but operateing the
server is another.

I am not saying the Individuals' constituency should not publish its
documents in Nama/Damara so my friends in Khorexias can contribute in
their native tongue. But individuals there are represented (ably or
not) by the constituency's management.

Most of the individual domain owners don't understand the DNS in the
first place, anyway, even if presented in native tongue.

That constituency can waste its time as much as it wants, because
ICANN doesn't "give a dead rat's fuzzy behind" (Which CP/M great
(immortal) am I quoting here? :-)-O) about ANY of the constituencies
its minions don't control directly.

But the DNSO as a whole should not. ccTLD constituency should
not. gTLD will not, I can assure you, Nominalia or the French
Registrar nonwithstanding.

IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER! And, not only because ICANN doesn't listen,
but also because it divides further our resources.

BTW, I propose ICAN acquire a VOTAMATIC machine that is due to be
auctioned off in Miami Beach and appoint Mike Robert's brother to be
the independent teller on the next election.

Hmm, on second thought, they chose the Kent this time, so the above
would be an improvement. Cant't have that...
