So you think that if Microsoft stopped paying their annual fee, and their 
registration lapsed, that NSI would refuse to accept the registration from 
the next applicant for it?

That runs contrary to a rather large amount of experience with the 
com/net/org registration policies and practise.

And while I appreciate your giving me so much power on this topic, my 
credibility is irrelevant to the question.  It is resolved by documented, 
historic and extensive practise.

It would be helpful for you to supply citations that demonstrate legal 
substance to the claim that those who get gTLDs "own" them.  What "support 
by the courts" has there been?
