No, however it helps to know from what economic interest your comments
come from when people take into account the credibility of your
comments and arguments.  If the CORE agenda is not adopted, your
company stands to lose a lot of investment, and so anything that goes
against the CORE agenda can be expected to be something you strongly
oppose, regardless of where consensus lays.

I for one would like to know where in the hell your company is getting
the following information :

"NEWS: 1 August 1999:
The The first Generic Top Level Domains (gTLDs) may be delegated in
October or November of 1999. CORE anticipates .nom will the first
delgated to CORE by ICANN (successor to IANA)."

I thought decisions like this were not going to be made, or any
assurances given, until this workgroup has finished its work.

Is this proof that this workgroup is for naught and the real decisions
have already been made, as happened with both ICANN and the DNSO?

Is this another betrayal in the making by the CORE/ISOC special
interests?

Are we all wasting our breath (or fingertips) here?
