RE: [registrars] By-Laws

May I suggest that these disclosures are posted on the registras site.

Also, for full disclosure, an ex.com. member should provide information
about the entire span of their term at ex.com (or in the case of a nominee
to a position, a period of time, such as 12 months). The disclosure should
also be updated promptly if employment or consultancy arrangements are
changed. Otherwise, constituency members will not have accurate information
about their representatives.

Finally, the disclosure should provide information regarding ties to
registries or other companies that are members of the DNSO. I recall Mike
Palage raising the issue at the LA meeting of registrars and their
representatives to the constituency also having ties to registries. I agree
that it is important to know if an ex.com. or NC member works or consults
for a registry, an IPC member, or a BC member, and one that should be
divulged in the disclosure process.

Actually, I've only posted my disclosure to the other members of the
ExCom. Here it is for the world to see (I apologize for the length,
I work for an acquisitive firm):

I work for Allegiance Telecom, a U.S. telecommunications company. We
offer our Internet related products (including domain name services)
under the brand names Hosting.com and WSMDomains. In addition, we
acquired the following companies that offered domain name services:
Adgrafix, Connectnet, Connect.net, CTSNet, Harvardnet, InterAccess
(my original firm, and the Registrar), Jumpnet, Kivex, and Virtualis
Systems.

InterAccess is an accredited and operational registrar. Adgrafix and
Virtualis are accredited, but not operational, registrars. I speak
for all of these companies in domain name related matters.
