Outreach of ICANN? - Re: [wg-review] Re: [cctld-discuss] Comments on review of DNSObyMrPark

I believe that the Multilingulaism concept being proposed by ICANN is a good idea, so long as the
international Internet constituencies are allowed to play active roles in the formation of ICANN
policy and standards. International Internet constituencies should play key roles in the control
and management of the DNS.

The problem with the ICANN Multilingulaism concept or outreach plan being developed by ICANN and its
supporting organizations, is that it appears that it will only serve to strengthen ICANN's foothold
worldwide through its erroneous policy that includes excluding international Internet constituencies
from playing key roles in the control and management of the DNS.

With ICANN developing a stronger foothold worldwide, it may become too late to debate productive
change to include the international Internet constituencies' from participating in the control and
management of the DNS.

The ICANN Multilingulaism concept or outreach plan sounds like a good idea, however, ICANN policy
regarding excluding the international Internet constituencies' from participating in the control and
management of the DNS should also be addressed here.
