RE: [wg-c] bounced message, reposted for ... and The limits of .

Believe it or not, I strongly agree with William here. A living example is
the term "people of color", which, in my mind, is one of the most racist
phrases I have ever heard. In an ideal world, we don't notice color, let
alone single it out as an obvious PC phrase. In my mind, it is as bad as
Honky and Nigger, but also includes Polynesians, Asians, AmerInds, Arabs,
and Hispanics. In short, everthing but "white folk". It is also almost
exclusively American academic-oriented blacks and whites that use it (public
sector employees).

Now that I'm sure I've sparked-off much fuel for a fire, I hope y'all can
see the problem with Eric's proposal for NAA. It's the nose of a very large
and noisy camel. IMHO, it's better to not go there. Least ways, not via
special dispensation. NAA should not have any more standing than any other
TLD, becasue it is just ... a TLD. We shouldn't be jerrymandering the
process for any TLDs either.

Now, I wonder if'n brother Eric has actually spoken to the tribes about NAA?
