And as I pointed out, the "charge as much as the market will tolerate" 
guidance doesn't give any guidance.

However, a market with significant competition, or other pressures to lower 
price, will drive toward a reasonable price with reasonable profit.  In 
such cases, there IS a good relationship between costs and price.

While the two-bit bookkeeper might not be sufficient to the task, a first 
year MBA is.
