Jim,

With all due respect, I believe the WLS would have been approved regardless,
or at least that was always a very real possibility. I think the Task
Force's approach of recommending alternative conditions (even though I did
not agree with all of them) was the right course of action, as the result
bears out.

This is why I was so strobgly opposed to giving options as an alternative
to approving WLS.  Because it gives them a way to approve WLS.  Why was my
motion directing our reps to oppose WLS without options never put the the
RC for a vote?
