Re: [registrars] NSI/Verisign "failed-to-meet-criteria" justification for nacks

We have been finding the majority of denials, from NSI/Verisign, we have been receiving, are related to domains being in an "unpaid status" prior to the expiration date.

We were told NSI's domains go into an "unpaid status" on the due date of the invoice and not the expiration date. Typically, NSI's due date of the invoice is a few days prior to the exiration date.

I believe that the losing registrar should state a reason. We spent hours trying to determine the reason through a series of phone calls with NSI. Registrants are becoming extremely frustrated.
