[nc-budget]

RE: [nc-budget] A call


We seem to be loosing a thread here - I had proposed a teleconf of the nc 
budget sub-committee to finalise the proposals for the search process, 
selection criteria and selection process for consideration by the nc budget 
committee.  However, it is unclear who is on the nc buddget subcommittee and 
it seems that the call has been put out for a meeting of the entire nc budget 
committee.  This is not necessarily a bad thing - but we need to be clear 
about what we're doing.

The sub-committee was tasked with formulating proposals for (i) the search 
process, (ii) the selection criteria and (iii) the selection process.  I have 
put out a draft proposal on the selection criteria and selection process (see 
attached).  Chuck has volunteered to draft a proposal on the search process 
but this has not yet been put out for comment.  The sub-committee was not 
tasked with refining the job description - this is a matter for the full nc 
budget committee.

If the meeting on Fri is to be of the full nc budget committee, who is to 
chair - Roger?  Is the agenda to include the job description?
