Sure, Brett.  Just like timelines *are required* under the current bylaws, 
and just like a notice of a Board Special Meeting is *required* 14 days in 
advance... 

These are folks that break and pervert the rules whenever they have a mind to 
do so.  Just look at what's going on in the current Transfers Task Force with 
Marilyn pushing the TF into the area of Deletes for which it has no specific 
Council authorization to enter.  You think a few words will force the BC to 
become open and transparent?  Let them start by archiving their mailing list 
discussions so that we can see a commitment to transparency and to the 
Bylaws.  Otherwise, all your pretty words are just so much wasted time and 
effort as they will find yet another way to pontificate and conceal their 
lack of constituency discussion and involvement.  

You know these people... dissembling is an art form in their hands.
