Here are some proposed rules. They are slightly modified versions of
the rules used by ISOC. ISOC may have intellectual property rights in
these rules -- if so I believe they would allow our use of them:

Proposed ICANN/DNSO Email List Usage Agreement

By subscribing and/or posting to any ICANN or DNSO mailing list you
agree to the following:

You are solely responsible for any and all materials you post. While
you retain the rights to your postings, ICANN/DNSO retains the right
to maintain a database of the compilation of all postings, to use that
compilation however it deems appropriate, including publishing it, on the
  web or anywhere else.

There is no right to privacy, anonymity, or confidentiality of mailing
list contributions. ICANN/DNSO does not monitor postings by mailing list
users, and is not responsible for the nature or content of anything
  posted to the mailing list(s).

ICANN/DNSO reserves the right to remove, at any time, any or all of
your mailing list privileges if ICANN/DNSO determines, at ICANN/DNSO's
sole discretion, that you have violated our standards of behavior. No
unlawful materials may be posted to ICANN/DNSO mailing lists.
Repeatedly posting off-topic or insulting messages, spamming mailing
lists by posting the same message to multiple lists, sending large
messages or attachments, or in anyway deliberately disrupting any
mailing list are unacceptable behaviors and will result in termination
of your privileges and access to the mailing lists. ICANN/DNSO
mailing lists may not be used by you for commercial purposes.
ICANN/DNSO may create new mailing lists or remove or alter existing
  ones.

These terms may be changed by ICANN/DNSO by posting a notice to the
  lists involved.
