Thanks Elizabeth. I'm sure the statement of acceptance can be ignored in
this case, as I self-nominated and so obviously accepted the nomination. The
time issue is obviously a bigger problem, and I will understand if the
Watchdog committee decides not to accept the self-nomination.

Nevertheless, I will say that it is confusing to set the date as 16 July
2000 at a specific time during the day which is 15 July 2000 in other parts
of the world. I should have paid closer attention to the time component and
not just the date. Perhaps in the future we can set the date only.
