Unfortunately, I don't think there is a way we can
include nominations after the deadline (unless e.g.
there are technical transmission problems, but
this does not seem to be the case here).

I don't think the acceptance would be the problem for a
*self*-nomination. But the self-nomination would have to
arrive before the deadline.

I will try to read the mails arriving before then, but I
do not see a way we can extend the deadline, even for
such an excellent candidate like Bret. Sorry! :-(
