thank for your comments on the Business Constituency which you
chose to copy to the Council and elsewhere.
Members
I fail to understand the problem. The BC members listed on the
web site are those who have paid dues. If companies who are SME's are
missing it reflects they did not pay their dues.
SMEs
The Business Constituency by-laws have a provision for a SMEs
committee. Unfortunately last year paid up SME members numbered one - which is a
little lonely to form a committee. Most SMEs by their nature are too busy
running the SME to participate directly in organisations such as ICANN. They
prefer to participate via trade associations. The BC has around 16 association
members from all over the world.
