Re: [council] Election of Permanent NC Members

YJ,
Amadeu,

ISPCP constituency is now holding elections. Nomination period has
ended. Voting will begin in a couple of days and will be done in
about 2 weeks.

Geographical diversity of 3 NC Members from ISPCP is expressly
specified in ISPCP's Articles (and election procedure). An NC
member's geographical region is basically defined as "her/his
organization's major place of business." I think (although I'm not
completely confident) the result of the current election under
this rule will be within the scope of geographical diversity rule
set by ICANN Bylaws. Details are under discussion.
