As per Eric's suggestion, we need to work together to complete our
Preliminary Draft Report to the Board.  Please let us know which topic
summary you will volunteer to prepare.  I would suggest that all summaries
be submitted by March 6; this will allow another three days for follow-up
comments, criticisms, etc. to be added (which will be attached to the report
as an uncensored, unedited addendum).  On March 9th, you will all be asked
to confirm your status as a signatory to the Report.  This is not a
single-author project.  If some of you choose to write on the same topic, no
problem -- all submissions will be included.  Please remember that this is a
preliminary report to the Board, a summary of all positions, majority and
minority.  We expect due diligence and fairness from every editor.

Below are listed some of our Topic areas with URLS for reference as a
starting point.  Feel free to add others about which this Group has shown
interest.  Any topics not selected at this juncture will be covered in the
subsequent final report to the Board scheduled for June in Stockholm.
