how can anyone disagree with this multilingual concept...

the only problems in accomplishing this are practical ones (I.e. financial &
manpower)

unfortunately, I have not seen anyone stepping up with any volunteer efforts
to translate key documents into other languages (this includes the proposals
& statements from this wg) .

it might have been a very "symbolic" outreach gesture and positive example
for this group to have "offered" significant output documents in other
languages but, to date,  no person or group  has stepped forward  to
volunteer
