Due to the content of the first of the two pararaphs above, I support
the proposal of the second paragrapgh, as the polling method
(apparently) imposes integrity of the poll, which, I believe, is
imperative to any poll, especially, in a closed poll, the second
assurance; that no voter can vote more than once.
