Yes, thanks for confirming that IODesign is indeed accepting
registrations.  However, CORE does not. 

A CORE member is an independent business, separate from CORE.  Some are
ISPs, some are large Telcos, and some -- a very few, have questionable
ethics.  But of course, it would be unrealistic to expect them all to be
saints. 

CORE members are registrars, not registries.  A few CORE members are also
ICANN accredited registrars, and register directly in .com etc.  If a
member of CORE also wants to do business with someone else, that's their
business. 

CORE has *no* presold TLDs.
