[wg-c] Unique DNS Root or "usability", question for Tony

Tony,

The text of the IAB Technical Comment on the Unique DNS Root appeared under
Brian Carpenter's name on September 27th. Feel free to share your reasoning
that partition, or the and leaf-node and egress router (end-users and ISPs)
"usability" are instances of rules as likely to be obsoleted as your choice
of examples.

Feel free to be as technically rigorous as you feel a proper exposition of
the subject requires.

If you feel that you must argue in particular for partition, please do let
me know. As co-author of draft-ietf-dnsind-iana-dns-02.txt I'm open to any
competent technical comment on the actual semantics of IANA reserved octets.

If you want to use Paul's name, ask him. It is as simple as that.

Reminder -- You made a claim about Ms. Berry's critical position on a policy
question, I asked you if your claim was correct. Is it?

Cheers,
Eric
