[wg-c] Separating the Sheep from the Goats

Why don't we cut to the chase?

Short of administering Guttman scales to the whole WG
or factoring phi-matrices of responses to a comprehensive
battery of attitude questions, why don't we get down to
the first crucial question:

Who objects to/endorses rolling out around a half-dozen gtlds over
six months, followed by accelerated rollouts after an evaluation
period? Objectors, please state whether the objection is because
(A) It's not fast enough/big enough (including "it fails to lock ICANN
into LOTS of new TLDs");
(B) It's too fast/big
( C ) We can't answer this question in isolation.

I call this the first crucial question because the split over this issue
really does dictate who's going to adhere to which reports.

HELLO? There isn't going to be consensus about this issue.
Let's stop kidding ourselves.
