Brett and all,

Good point.
The exact nature of the DNSO's policymaking or -advising has not yet been
established.
Kent thinks ICANN will be weak. In that case the DNSO advising will be
important.
When ICANN would implode, a well constituted DNSO may be all that's left.

Kent also keeps portraying the registries as minorities, ready to be
oppressed by a intolerant majority of "at large" DN holders.
The reality is quite different.
The "at large" group will be made up of every opinion under the sun. DNSO
"politicians" will be able to persuade by the sheer force of good argument
and can create their own (flexible) constituencies in good time.

Well, I'm going to give this argument a rest and devote some time to my
family.
