Ok lets stop right here Greg. What questions did you ask your ISP withrespect
to what Root server's they route to? Second, what browser are you using?
Third, are you dialing in? If so what dialup software are you using?

The fact that your ISP only accesses NSI/IANA/ICANN/??? zones, will not matter
if 1.) you have your secondary DNS server specified
as an SROOTS server or 2.) Your Browser has this feature built into the
Browser as can be done with Netscape 5.0 and I believe Microsofts
IE 5.2??

You won't have this problem if one of the conditions I outlined abovebriefly
is true.

  Depends on your browser.

  Simple, ask.

  Again, ask.

And this is the crux of the problem. Information is not a readily availableas
it should be for users to know. And what information is available, people
like Kent Crispin and Dave Crocker scoff at as being untrue or inaccurate and
organizations like the IANA, IETF, IAB, ISOC, WIPO don't want users
to know either. Just like DNSSEC, and IPSEC issues as well. I could go
on and on here.
