[comments-wgb] TM and a Domain Name (Are they the same?)

I just have (2) questions...IF TM's become forever linked with domain names, what will become of our Domain Names System???...Instead of looking at words in the dictionary we will have a bunch of trademarked names..... Lastly...Is ICANN in the Trademark business or the business of overseeing a stable DNS, that offers choice and competition??
