Jim, I don't agree at all.

For example, the name business.store should really go to the
businessstore.com website, not the business-store.com website.

We all know the name without the hyphen is almost always far more
valuable and more likely a much more important and long running
and famous website than the hyphenated name is.

So why reward the hyphenated name? It makes no sense at all.
