Election to the Chair and Alternate Chair of the DNSO GA
--------------------------------------------------------

The Call for Endorsements was closed today, Friday, 30 March 2001,
at 21:00 UTC, 23:00 CET (Paris time).
Since 23:30 Paris time any message sent liste ga-endorsements@dnso.org
is returned with a Delivery-Report "User unknown".


The Candidates for the Chair of the General Assembly (GA) are:

 * Danny Younger: nomination, acceptance and list of 13 endorsers
   in http://www.dnso.org/clubpublic/ga-endorsements/2001.dyo.html

 * Eric Hugh Dierker: nomination, acceptance and list of 7 endorsers 
   in http://www.dnso.org/clubpublic/ga-endorsements/2001.ehd.html

 * Jonathan Weinberg: nomination, acceptance and list of 21 endorsers 
   in http://www.dnso.org/clubpublic/ga-endorsements/2001.jwe.html

 * Patrick Corliss: nomination, acceptance and list of 18 endorsers 
   in http://www.dnso.org/clubpublic/ga-endorsements/2001.pco.html

Tomorrow, 31 March 2001, at 18:00 CET (Paris time), the ballots
will be sent to the members of the GA Voting Registry, which will
select the Chair and the Alternate Chair according to adopted procedures

It is an advisory vote by the GA to advise the Names Council of
its preferences.
