Vote by the NCDNH Constituency to (1) designate its representatives to the Adcom and Names Council and (2) on five resolutions

BASIC OUTLINE OF THE VOTE PROCESS, b02, Vote by the NCDNH Constituency to (1) designate its representatives to the Adcom and Names Council and (2) on five resolutions

  1. Timeline:

       Opens   Friday 16 February 2002, 19:00 UTC, 20:00 CET (Paris)
       Closes  Friday 22 February 2002, 19:00 UTC, 20:00 CET (Paris)
       (For local time in other places see http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/)
    

    The results are due no later than Saturday 23 February 2002 at 23:00 UTC, 24:00 CET (Paris), and will be provided to the Election Officers.

  2. A ballot is prepared.

    A ballot starts with line "BEGIN" and ends with line "END__".

    It is like this:

    REQUEST: This ballot is From: 'NCDNHvote@dnso.org' -- please reply without CC to any list.
    IMPORTANT: Please do not strip ballot,
    IMPORTANT: it  MUST start with line BEGIN: (do not edit BEGIN line)
    IMPORTANT: it  MUST end   with line END__: (do not edit END__ line)
    IMPORTANT: and MUST contain all lines in between.
    
    Instructions to a SMALL organization (one vote) or a LARGE organization 
    Member (two votes) and a list of RESOLUTIONS:

    An example of ballot for a SMALL organization Member is listed below.
    A LARGE organization Member gets two votes, which practicaly
    means two copies of ballot for a SMALL organization Member.

  3. Ballot is assigned a number (first field in a line), here "b02" -- ballot number 02.

  4. Ballot is personalised. Each line indicates who is voting.

  5. The second field, in BEGIN/END__ between "b02" and "NCDNHzz", indicates a personalised code given for this ballot to this person. A personalised code is 6 caracteres, starting with "K", ending with "Z", here "KabcdZ".

  6. Do not edit a ballot. Just put a 'x' between square brackets [ ] to vote (1) for a candidate or (2) for each of five resolutions.

    You cast one vote if you are SMALL organization Member and two votes if you are LARGE organization Member.

  7. A ballot will arrive From: "NCDNHvote@dnso.org" -- please reply without CC to any list.

  8. You will receive an aknowledge of your ballot within 48 hours.
