RE: [registrars] PersonalNames.com

Rick,

Your comment ignited some of the same feelings I had in a recent discussion
with a very conservative friend who felt flag burning and abortion should be
banned. I personally find both are offensive but my concern was how history
has shown that a hill slide can quickly become an avalanche.

So forgive me if I misread your intent and over reacted. However, I don't
want to start down a road that will lead to questions about whether certain
existing members of this constituency should be ousted because of mere
affiliations with registries. Doing so would indeed result in capture by
mostly smaller registrars representing a very small market share.

I encourage all RC members to be very careful in evaluating where this is
leading, and what all of the agendas truly are.

Tim

I said nothing about capture of the constituency by small registrars, I
only advocated a clear definition of participiants. Could you elaborate
on where your fear and conclusions arise from?
