RE: [registrars] Sept 21-22 Meeting

If the 9/11 thing is causing others concern, perhaps we should host it here
in Canada. I would be happy to help with the arrangements for Ottawa.

Ottawa has direct flights from Heathrow, Chicago, DC, NYC, Boston etc.
Connecting through Toronto is a breeze from almost any major city in the
world.

Just a thought.

Rob.

I agree with Jim on this one .....

Especially in light of 9/11 timing.

There seemed to be support for Orlando .... lets put it back in the works !

Hi All...

I have to say that our preference is strongly for DC as well, especially if
its not really in DC. I also have to say I am a little surprised that New
York and DC are on the list at all for September travel. We can only
expect that the security will be absolutely intense almost exactly one year
after the worst terrorist attack in American history. We can also expect a
lot of traffic to these places for memorials and so on. This is going to
translate into maximum inconvenience for all of us. For example, I would
expect that hotel space in New York will be at a premium and its never less
than very expensive to begin with.

As for south Florida, I think you were joking about the hurricanes.
Really, why were those destinations excluded? Can we rethink this?

Jim
