[registrars] Question about votebot

Hi All...

I was just wondering, I replied to the note to vote, but the reply had the 
traditional > characters in it, so the ballot was modified in that way. 
Will that screw up the software?

Also, does the vote counting robot acknowledge receipt of our vote?
