One thing that was missed in this morning's exchange (yes, it's a beautiful sunny day here in Australia) was the ICANN Verisign contract review.

The ExCom discussed this issue on Monday and suggested that I work on it. 

I'm not sure what the issues are and am more than happy to work on any review.  However, I'd need the issues more carefully characterised and understand what we expect as outcomes.

If anyone else has further thoughts, let me know.  We can put together a small group and see if we can come up with some reasonable solutions.
