RE: [registrars] VeriSign Letter to ICANN on XFER

Mike - a number of weeks ago, I posted a message to the registrar
constituency list expressing register.com's intent to change the registrar
transfer policy. However, as stated in that message, we hesitate to
institute a change until there is registrar concensus. As we have always
believed, a change in policy must carefully balance consumer protection and
registrar business practices, and we do not want to make any changes until
we know that there is concensus.

Therefore, we would encourage you to schedule a registrar constituency phone
call to gather comments on the registrar transfer policy and finalize the
concensus on this issue.

Thank you and best regards, Elana

Any comments on the letter Roger Cochetti sent to Stuart Lynn with regard to
the transfer issue?

Bruce maybe I missed this in my inbox, but it would be helpful if your
company could have provided a courtesy copy to the registrar list.
