Mike - Unfortunately, I am the point person on this matter and will have
to be the one to participate on the call. Geven that people are
travelling back from INET this week, I believe that moving the call to
Monday would help a few registrars, not just me.

I would also suggest that part of the agenda - before discussing options
under the by-laws is to discuss potential processes that we could
institute to find a balance between customer security and registrar
concerns. I hope and trust that we can come to a true concensus within
our constituency before addressing how to move the registrar
constituency position toward a concensus policy. While I have no formal
position, I have some ideas for people to consider.

Thank you for your consideration.

Kind regards, Elana

Elana:

I will be out of pocket most of next week and it has been the sense from
most registrars that I have spoken with or have received email from that
this issue be addressed NOW and not latter. Moreover, most registrars
early in the week are inundated with NACs received over the weekend when
their customers fail to respond to the email that is being sent out by
the losing registrar.

I spoke with Laura and she asked if I could push back the time on
Friday. The best that I could do is to make the teleconference at 10 AM.
Although you are the point person on this subject matter, I believe that
your company has at least two or three other people that could represent
your company's viewpoint. Moreover, as you can see by the email, this
teleconference is primarily for the benefit of those registrars that
were not able to attend Stockholm.

The items on the agenda for tomorrow's teleconference are as follows:
(1) Summary of problem for those registrars not able to attend
Stockholm;
(2) Review of options available to us under ICANN by-laws, similar to
discussion last Sunday in Stockholm;
(3) Review of letter that will be sent to other constituencies in
accordance with ICANN rules regarding creating new policy and procedure

I need to send out notification to the registrars shortly on the time
and dial-in information for the teleconference. If you could please
respond in the next two hours (1 PM EDT) I would greatly appreciate it.
Hopefully, Laura can contact you on your cell to confirm the time.

Best regards,

Mike

could we please switch to Monday, June 11th. I am travelling on Friday
and it would be difficult to joint telecon. Given that we have been
heavilly involved, I'd really appreciate being able to join. Thank you.
