RE: [registrars] Neulevel (.biz) concerns.

All:

I appreciate Bob speaking on behalf of VeriSign, but with all due respect,
it is not appropriate.

During an Afilias membership call, open to only Afilias members, we
discussed Afilias related issues, as well as the status of other gTLD
applicant appendices as posted on the ICANN site. Several Neulevel
appendices had been posted, and we happened to discuss them briefly, and I
expressed concern about how different other gTLD appendices were to
Afilias'. Unfortunately, Bob mis-represented the discussion in his brief
statement below.

For the record, VeriSign and Neulevel have been developing a strong working
relationship, and VeriSign, specifically the NSI Registrar unit, has not
taken any public or official positions on any of the gTLD applicant
contracts or business terms. We strive to work closely and productively
with all the gTLD registries.

Regards,

Bruce
