[registrars] Fw: [ga] NC telecon 28 March 2001, agenda **ATTENTION LOCAL TIME**

All,
Please note that the Names Council will meet 28 Mar to determine its
response to the proposed new Verisign/NSI contract negotiated by ICANN
staff. The key issue will be to determine whether constituencies prefer
Option A (the 1999 Agreement) or Option B.
At present, it is my understanding that, given a choice between Option A and
Option B, the majority of Registrars would favour Option A.
IHowever, since it is important that the view of the Registrars constituency
is known by the NC at its meeting on 28 Mar, the constituency should
clarify its position in advance of the meeting.

Regards,
erica
