[nc-transfer] TR TF

> I am convening the Transfer Task Force on Friday, May 31, at 2:00 p.m. to discuss the chair's recently posted paper summarizing discussions of TR-TF related to Deletions, Solutions and VGRS WLS and the fuller work of the TR-TF. MP-3 recordings are available for both calls, and we expect to have a transcript shortly. In the meantime, my summary, entitled "Summary of Discussions of Transfer Task Force Related to Deletions, Solutions, and VGRS WLS" provides a fairly detailed summary of the discussions which took place. Further exchanges of ideas have also taken place between some of the participants which has been posted to the archive, and I refer the TF to those exchanges.
>
> As the Task Force knows, we have hosted two "open" calls regarding the WLS and Deletions. A short report will be given at the Names Council call on May 29, with further written submission to the Names Council on June 6 as a Status Report for the Names Council to forward to the Board by June 10. We must give consideration to several decisions and further discussion as needed regarding any findings.
>
> In addition, I would like to schedule at least one, if not two, further discussions for the larger community, between now and Bucharest. Time is very limited; some of you have advised me that you believe that only one more open meetings is practical. We will have a time slot to present our recommendations in Bucharest. We are not presently on a time line to publish a draft report, receive extensive comments and incorporate them by Bucharest.
>
> Please keep in mind that there are separate working tracks within this TF. Separately, I want to remind you there is a draft document posted by Ross Rader on behalf of a small working group related to Apparent Authority. Written comments on that draft are due this Friday so that we can begin to finalize our findings. Still outstanding is the process to take registrant input.
>
> The final topic of this call will be a discussion of preparing a draft report for publication and developing a briefing/presentation for Bucharest.
>
> The telephone number for the call is being provided in a separate email to the members of the TF. Invited guests will once again include Dan Halloran and Thomas Roessler.
