Re: [nc-intake] Request from the GA Chair

Dear Dany and all:

Thank you for submit such a request.

There are free scripts out there that can be used for
make easier the life of a majordomo administrator. In
my search I found the following website.

http://www.argo.es/~jcea/artic/scripts_majordomo.htm

However it is in Spanish, but I haven't found yet a
similar website in English. For sure as I read French
(without having learn French) maybe the administrator
at AFNIC can more or less read this document in
Spanish. If I have time I would translated into
English or at least to offer my help to the
administrator in order to explain more according to
such a website what is the purpose of every script
described there.

For restricting postings, I haven't found any scripts
yet.

If programming or getting such scripts is outside
functions of AFNIC for DNSO, then I propose to ask the
cooperation of General Assembly members in order to
provide one or if know about any script to perform
such functions requested by Danny, then provided the
URL where to download it.

For the last, if AFNIC doesn't want to use scripts
that are programmed out there for free, then majordomo
provides a command that makes semi automated the
function of handling bounces. Information about the
use of such command is described in the manual page of
majordomo. With the proper organization, such feature
must save time to the list administrator.

Best Regards
Vany
