Thanks everybody for comments etc. I have now heard from everyone I expected
to with the exception of Paul. I just left a message on his voice mail and
he is claiming not be on holiday!

So, I will wait overnight and send our proposals as amended to the NC
tomorrow morning whatever the case - (and in the meantime may have heard
from Paul).
