The only thing I can see it paralleling is colonial rule by a monarchy.

We're the poor uneducated niggers, and these guys get picked for us,
because the ruling class don't think we're capable of doing it ourselves.

I thought this sort of shit went out of fashion with slavery.

So much for the U.S. being the world's greatest democracy! Someone in the
