I agree with a lot of what's being said and feel the least that should 
happen is:

every person who works with or for ICANN and does not have the job or 
position as a result of public or proper election should be replaced within 
the next year

and

every person who works with or for ICANN and does have the job or position 
as a result of public or proper election should retain their position until 
they have been replaced according to schedule by public or proper 
election.  A person may be re-elected and permitted to continue in their role.
