The solution to US control of the DNS is to make the USG root network
irrelevant by
supporting the inclusive namespace roots, such as PacficRoot, ORSC and
Jefsey's
business-oriented root in Europe.

The best way to remove US control of the DNS is to take it away from them by
not using *.ROOT-SERVERS.NET. Thats what we have been telling people for
years.
