Re: [ga] Another Resignation

This is the wrong time jump ship.  We are forming our governance.  The current
rules are very interim.  The final decisions have not been made.  The actual vote
is in two months.  There is absolutely no reason why this group (and, I appreciate
the fact that "THIS group" includes those who have chosen to "un-subscribe"
through act of conscience) can't come to a reasonable result.  Frankly, it took a
bold step to get the ball rolling, and the leadership deserves great credit for
the launching.   It is now up to the membership to reach reasonable consensus.

To that end, I move that

1. our voter role be the subscribers to "ga-unfiltered" plus anyone who registers;
and,

2.  we shall discuss each proposition in the interim rules singly, make motions
and vote on them serially (with the understanding that the preliminary decisions
can be changed any time before final ratification).

The point is to get started or the job will have to be done in a back room
(assuming we hope to meet the deadline).

This process is very important.  Everything that is ever done by the GA in the
future will be a reflection.
