In some Multi-Level-Marketing (MLM) Machines, the people work their way up via the ranks.
It should now be more clear that ICANN is essentially the RIR's Headquarters. That should be
no surprise because the /8s are each worth between $1 and $2 billion dollars and there will be
a line of people around the world, waiting to get one to sub-lease and essentially coin money.

You are correct that MLMs that spawn from family and insider money tend to retain a ruling class
at the top. The British-born population seems to accept that, whereas the U.S. citizens assume that
assets are earned and passed on from one generation to the next. In many other places in the world,
the people have no assets and do not even understand what that is. They may understand what land
is, but some do not understand the concept of "owning land". The same situation occurs with people
who live on the oceans of the world. There are not many people trying to own the middle of the ocean.
If people do not like one location, they move to another. They can do that if there is an unlimited
amount of land or water. When a supply is unlimited, it is hard to convince people it is an asset.

The limited supply of ASNs will likely come into the picture soon. The limited supply of 32-bit address
space is already somewhat understood by consumers that pay $10 to $15 per month per IP address.
That $12.50 (average) in taxes works its way up via the MLM and funds the insiders. With the RIRs
paying ICANN $168,000,000 per /8 each year, there should be plenty of revenue to fund plenty of
yachts in Marina Del Rey and ranches in Malibu and out in Palm Springs. Some chalets in Switzerland
will also be needed to entertain the digerati and also some islands in the Caribbean and the South Pacific.

There is an island in the Caribbean owned by one of the major MLM systems and another in the
South Pacific with another MLM base. People may want to visit those to learn more about how it is
all put together....
