I would like to know what investigations (if any)
ICANN has carried out into Yesnic's activities in the fraudulent .info Sunrise?
ICANN continues to accredit Yesnic. ICANN continues to recommend them on
their website and promote their name. ICANN continues to tell consumers they can
deal with this company.
However, Yesnic got 261 .info names with highly contentious supposed
Trademark details in the Sunrise process.
When I say highly contentious, I am being polite. It is not just me who says
so. 16 names were successfully challenged through WIPO. It's obvious in my mind
that this was just the tip of the iceberg.
The names which they had confiscated from them were:

As a result of the false details Yesnic submitted for these names (and up to
245 others) customers all over the world were deprived of the opportunity to
obtain these names legitimately (and many also lost money in the process).
I believe ICANN has a responsibility, as an organisation serving the world
internet public, to make an open statement about the activities of this company
which they accredit and promote, including a definition of what investigations
ICANN has carried out.
I have requested a response from Dan Halloran, the man invested with the
responsibility for liaising between ICANN and its registrars. Over 50 days have
passed and, despite repeated e-mails and public versions on sites like
ICANNwatch, Mr Halloran has not even had the courtesy to reply to me.
Is this open, honest and transparent dealing?
Or is ICANN intent on supporting and endorsing Registrars who eschew open,
honest and transparent dealing in favour of corruption, deception and the abuse
of the very rules which ICANN set up, supposedly to protect the consumer?
I respectfully and patiently request that Dan Halloran and ICANN now offer
the internet public some answers - or does ICANN intend to evade honest
questions and protect those parties who are seen by many as the friends of
ICANN, who bankroll their organisation?
