[ga] Re: [off-list] Re: [atlarge-discuss] role of voting

In a free society, anyone can release information, points of view, whatever
they darned well like to the press - and they are not obliged to consult
anyone else at all. Why should they? If an individual thinks it's helpful to
tell someone else (like you) that's THEIR business.

I often issue press releases. Why would I want to inform you first?

If I pretend I "AM" the GA, or the GA chairman, then that's a different
matter.

But I speak for myself, and it would be laughable to think I should consult
you first!

I get the feeling some people in the GA and ICANN have become
"institutionalised" and have started to believe all the mythologies and
dialectic which ICANN constructs for its own obfuscation and agendas.

In the normal world, we speak for ourselves. Full stop.

I may drop you a line anytime if I like you or you are a friend or
something.

I'm a very friendly person!

But the right to see my press releases in advance... "I DON'T THINK SO!"
