Danny,

Small businesses currently enjoy what I would describe as preferential
treatment within the B&C constituency. They have equal access to resources,
equal votes, and their dues are a fraction of what other members pay. Small
businesses pay 250 Euros a year (~US$230) and other businesses pay 1500
Euros a year (~US$1380). Personally, I think the B&C dues are
mind-bogglingly high for a constituency -- at least twice what they should
be -- but they are relatively affordable for any small business that wants
to have a role. The best use of efforts in this areas is to do outreach to
the small business community and get small businesses to join the existing
constituency.
